OKX launches AI Builder program with commission rebates of up to 50%

OKX has officially launched its AI Builder co-building program and opened applications, according to an official announcement. The program allows developers to connect to OKX market data, trading, and account functions through MCP, CLI, or API, then embed trading features into their own AI products. Under the arrangement, when users complete trades through a Builder project, the Builder can share in the fee revenue generated with OKX. The commission rebate can reach as high as 50%. OKX said both new and existing users’ trades are eligible to be counted toward the rebate program. The announcement outlines the access methods, the available platform capabilities, and the revenue-sharing structure tied to user trading activity completed through participating Builder projects.

Three veteran traders say speed, liquidity and capital efficiency now define stock trading on crypto platforms

A long-form report by TechFlowPost argues that U.S. stock trading is shifting from legacy broker systems to crypto-native platforms, with little sign of reversal. Based on interviews with three experienced market participants — Rocky, Bean Ge and Xiadie Haida — the piece maps out what traders now treat as hard metrics when choosing a venue for equities: execution speed, order-book depth, total transaction cost, market-hours flexibility, information delivery and capital efficiency. The report says trading on centralized crypto exchanges is moving from a trial experience to a daily habit for some active users, especially during earnings season, when after-hours price moves can define outcomes. Bean Ge focuses on latency, liquidity and news tools; Xiadie Haida highlights 24/7 access, faster reaction to headlines and broader symbol coverage; Rocky looks beyond simple buy-and-sell access to how tokenized stocks can be used for yield, collateral and borrowing. TechFlowPost also reviews current platform positioning. Binance, OKX and Bitget are all expanding stock-related products, but with different emphasis across ecosystem integration, compliance, API access, tokenized products and AI-driven trading tools. The article further notes market projections cited by Rocky, who believes tokenized equities could reach a 10% penetration rate of the global stock market within three years, while regulation, transparency and on-chain composability remain central to broader adoption.

X-Agent open-sources xpense, an AI payment control plane tied into the OKX ecosystem

Web3 AI network X-Agent has announced the open-source release of xagentAI/xpense after completing a deep integration with OKX Agentic Wallet and launching a paid MCP tool on the OKX marketplace. The project is positioned as a payment control plane for AI agents, aimed at filling a missing control layer in autonomous spending, budget risk management, and delivery verification. According to the announcement, existing standards and tools including HTTP 402, x402, MPP, MCP, and OKX Agentic Wallet already support signing and micropayment rails, but they do not fully address the upper-layer controls required when machines spend funds on their own. X-Agent said xpense is designed to answer practical questions such as who sets spending limits for an agent, how repeated charges can be prevented, and how a system can verify that a paid service was actually delivered. The project lays out a seven-step deterministic flow covering Intent, Policy, Route, Pay, Deliver, Verify, and Account. It also adopts a dual-state-machine model that separates payment settlement from service delivery. X-Agent said the system also relies on policy-engine controls, a payment-aware router, and OKX infrastructure including TEE-based key isolation and x402 gas-free USDC settlement.

Survey finds roughly 70% of U.S. crypto traders are open to AI-managed portfolios

A survey commissioned by OKX and conducted among 1,400 U.S. crypto traders found that about 70% would allow artificial intelligence to manage their portfolios without reviewing every trade individually. That includes both fully autonomous management and AI systems operating within user-defined risk limits. The results also show a clear generational split: 38% of Gen Z respondents and 37% of millennials said they would be willing to give AI full, unsupervised control, compared with 11% of baby boomers. AI use is already common in trading workflows, with 51% saying they use AI tools multiple times a week for research or trading, and 77% reporting that they had used general-purpose chatbots over the past three months to research their crypto positions. Respondents also pointed to the safeguards they want most, especially real-time alerts and the ability to instantly revoke system permissions. Separately, 79% said they would consider switching exchanges if a competing platform offered better AI tools. The survey comes as U.S. regulators including the SEC, FINRA and state securities authorities continue to warn investors to verify platform registrations and remain cautious of promises of low risk and high returns.
